The Toyota Fortuner is also known as the Toyota SW4 and it is a mid-size five-door SUV that is manufactured by Toyota, a Japanese automobile manufacturer. The Toyota Fortuner is built on the Hilux pickup truck platform. It has two or three seat rows and is available in both rear-wheel drive and front-wheel drive systems. The name was derived from the English word “Fortune”. The first generation of the Toyota Fortuner started in 2004 and since then, for over 11 years, it has been refreshed twice in 2008 and 2011.

Toyota updated the features of the 2019 Toyota Fortuner with few changes. The SUV now comes with perforated leather seats at the front and heat rejection glass. It also has a new interior colour which is the beige color found on the upholstery which has dark brown colour as an option.

The heat rejection glass feature is offered standard in the Fortuner but the perforated leather seats and interior beige colour upholstery are limited to the Fortuner diesel. Even still, the 2019 Fortuner diesel can still be offered with any of the two upholstery options. Some of the features that remain unchanged are; push-button start, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and Bluetooth, LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs and fog lamps and dual-zone climate control, amongst others.
