The Unknown 2023 Nissan Murano Is Better Than 2023 Toyota RAV4

The Toyota RAV4, one of the best cars ever produced by Toyota, is well known for its suitability for navigating Nigeria’s bumpy and muddy roads. Nevertheless, did you know that this vehicle may be better substituted with the Nissan Murano? The Nissan Murano was quite popular in the late 90s and early 2000s but its popularity has reduced over a long period of time. Moreso, Nissan cars haven’t been given the necessary popularity it requires in the Nigerian market, with most people only focusing on the Nissan Pathfinder. 

Most people tend to believe that Nissan cars can never compete in anything, but we must clarify that this is completely untrue. Performance-wise, Nissan Murano 2023 outperforms the RAV4

Performance should be one factor you hold in regard when buying a car. Despite not having the finest reviews of any SUV on the market, the Nissan Murano performs rather well. It has a 3.5-litre V6 engine with a maximum output of 260 horsepower, we are sure you weren’t expecting this from the car. Front-wheel drive is the vehicle’s standard drivetrain, however, all trims also have rear-wheel drive. The continuously variable transmission, which some owners claim creates strange groaning noises, is a drawback.

The Murano’s 2.5-litre, 203 horsepower engine is slightly more potent than the RAV4’s 2.5-litre, 203 horsepower engine. Both front-wheel and all-wheel drivetrains are available to buyers.  Nissan Murano’s lack of a hybrid option is a drawback, while the  RAV4 has an excellent hybrid option.

There is greater room inside the Nissan Murano

Everyone loves a car with space and with a small SUV, you need all the space you can get. Even though it needs a big revamp, the interior of the Nissan Murano is still quite nice. The 2023 RAV4 might have more storage space thanks to compartments all throughout the car, but the new Murano is roomier and has a larger backset than most competitors. Nonetheless, the cargo area may use some improvement. But, the new Nissan Murano can fit a lot of luggage with the back seats folded, compared to the number in the Toyota SUV.

An 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system is standard on both SUVs. The 2023 Murano also features USB-A and USB-C connectors, which are helpful for passengers using various mobile devices. Even better, the back seat is just as comfortable as the front because it has two ports there. With more high-end trims of the RAV4, a larger touchscreen is available.

The tiny price difference is disappointing

Unfortunately, the price of the 2023 Nissan Murano is slightly greater than that of the  Toyota RAV4. The starting price of the Nissan SUV is N25,000,000, while the 2023 Toyota RAV4 is N21,00,000. It makes sense that this is one of the key factors contributing to the Toyota option’s popularity. Many consumers will be turned off by this price discrepancy, and deservedly so.

Because of their extreme disparities in popularity, the Nissan Murano and Toyota RAV4 aren’t frequently compared. Contrary to what many customers might believe, they are actually very similar. The Nissan Murano isn’t a flawless car, but because of its more potent engine, it outperforms the most recent RAV4.
