The 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC has a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 241 horsepower and has a good amount of power and quick acceleration in most situations. Also included is a nine-speed automatic transmission which is made standard on the model. The ride is smooth and comfortable especially with the available drive modes which are Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, and Individual, which noticeably change the SUV’s driving dynamics. The estimated fuel economy is 22 mpg city run and 28 mpg highway run which is typical for a crossover SUV of that size.

2016 Mercedes Benz GLC 300 Driving

When at full speed, the GLC feels smooth and steady. The cabin has a more aerodynamic shape that allows the model to slip through the air more easily, reducing both the wind noise and fuel-sipping drag. The brakes of the 2016 model are excellent and they deliver virtually fade-free stopping power even when used aggressively.

When used normally, the GLC300 is impressively smooth, quiet and comfortable. You can also change the demeanour using the adjustable drive modes which adjust the parameters for steering feel, gas pedal and transmission responsiveness with the optional air suspension. Even with the larger wheels and summer tires afforded by the Sport package, the GLC300 is extremely comfortable, and the ride is expected to be even more smooth when optioned with the air suspension.

2016 Mercedes Benz Glc300 Buying Guide In Nigeria

The following is a buying guide for the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLC300;

  1. Authentic Dealers: The worst thing that could happen to anyone is getting a fake car or a car with fake parts. This can be really frustrating and painful. This is why you should ensure you purchase your car from authentic dealers.
  2. Check Engine Parts: Since the engine is used to move the car, it is important you check the engine to ensure it is still okay especially if it is a fairly used model you are getting, so you do not end up being duped. A faulty engine may result in lots of repair and would render the car useless at a point.
