From the press release of what to expect from the brand, we have composed a list of their upcoming releases in 2023 and what they essentially offer to the public and if they will meet the expectations of Toyota fans.
Toyota Corolla 2023
We would first have to talk about the 2023 Toyota Corolla GR, which has been determined to be one of the prospective releases by the automobile manufacturer in 2023. The specifications have been a personal favourite and are not one to stay in the background. This should be a definite lookout for those who love speed, versatility, and enhanced handling in their hatchbacks. The new and improved GR can boast a standard horsepower of 300 with a 1.6-litre turbocharged three-cylinder and a six-speed manual powertrain and all-wheel drive, but peak torque increases from 273 to 295 lb-ft.
The weight has been reduced significantly by 100 pounds, partly due to the elimination of rear door speakers, rear door regulators, and hatch rear wipers. The entry-level Core model is available in a limited run of 1,500 units in the United States; a Circuit Edition with a carbon-fibre roof and hood; and the ultimate Morizo Edition, limited to just 200 units in its first year (more are planned to be produced in subsequent years) and featuring more torque, different transmission gearing, stickier tires, and several other performance features.
It has been praised for having variety in its lineup and also strong fuel economy, but some critics allege that its driving dynamics are not as refined as some rivals. There has been no specific pricing released for now, but we estimate it to be around twenty million naira.
The Toyota Corolla Hybrid 2023 has been updated with an improved hybrid system and a new lithium-ion battery pack, which headlines the sedan. Two electric motors have also been included in the hybrid version. It has been updated for 2023 while the car has been upgraded with an all-wheel drive. The Corolla SE and XSE sedans have been equipped with new standard 18-inch wheels, and the same-sized wheels are available for all trims of the hatchback. The Corolla LE has also upgraded its engine to a 169-horsepower 2.0-litre instead of the 139-horsepower 1.8-liter engine used in the outgoing model. The price for the 2023 Toyota Corolla remains unknown for now, but it will perhaps be the cheapest in the series and should be estimated at ten million naira or above. It is assumed that the 2023 Toyota Corolla models will be made available towards the final quarter of 2022.
2023 Toyota Camry
One of the most significant changes comes with the Nightshade Edition model. It receives the Camry TRD front grille insert and 19-inch wheels finished in matte bronze, as well as a new exterior colour that consists of Reservoir Blue, which replaces Celestial Silver Metallic. It has been praised for being a standard hybrid powertrain and having an available all-wheel drive (AWD), but having an outdated infotainment technology system is a major inconvenience. The Sienna will probably be released in early to mid-2023, as information regarding its release has not been communicated. There is no information about the MSRP yet, but the Toyota Sienna is an inexpensive car, so it should have an average starting price of ten million naira.
2023 Toyota RAV4
The compact RAV4 is one of the most popular Toyota SUV lineups, and the new model for 2023 brings a hybrid special edition and some new technology. It is possible that it will have updated features such as TRD-tuned suspension, all-terrain tires, taller roof rails in black, and a 120-volt household power outlet in the cargo area.
It also has the extra off-road capability for the hybrid edition and updated software for the RAV4. It is well known for its sharp design, efficient powertrain, and strong driver assist features, but its setback is the coarse base engine. 2023 Toyota Venza

2023 Toyota Highlander
The model was due for a reformation and Toyota began this process with an all-new 2.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, replacing the old V-6. A standard 7.0-inch digital gauge cluster and a hands-free power liftgate are added features to the XLE and XSE mid-level trim levels.
The Highlander is proficient with its large available display, many standard safety features, modern new engine, efficient available hybrid model, and ample cargo space, but it has some issues with an unexciting driving experience. The price of the 2023 model has been evaluated to begin at twenty million naira.
2023 Toyota 4Runner
For 2023, Toyota isn’t making any big changes to the 4Runner, but it is releasing a new limited edition in celebration of the truck’s 10th anniversary. 2023 Toyota bZ4X
The sole completely new Toyota model for 2023 is the dubious-sounding bZ4X, which is also the automaker’s first mass-market electric vehicle. 2023 Toyota Sequoia
In addition to the bZ4x, which may be the only new nameplate for 2023, Toyota is launching a completely revamped third-generation Sequoia. With an available 14.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, electric power seats, a hybrid twin-turbo V-6 in place of the outdated V-8, and a complete complement of standard driver assistance systems, Toyota’s full-size three-row is more contemporary than ever.
In addition, the now-discontinued (for North America, at least) TRD Pro model will be replaced by the new top-of-the-line Capstone trim. The estimated price for the Sequoia will be valued at twenty million naira, and the release date hasn’t been confirmed but will likely be in late 2022 or early 2023.
