Kia is planning a full on Electric Vehicle assault with 11 new models coming before 2025. But this EV6 will turn heads wherever it goes. With a design inspired by the Futuron concept, this new 2022 Kia EV6 debuts with a unique identity, the new KIA logo, and a new design language Kia calls “Opposites United”, contrasting nature and humanity. The EV6 is very sleek and sculpted with LED lighting and flowing lines that all seem to connect in a way. We now have the official US specs too as it arrives in 2022. A first edition is coming with just 1,500 to be built and gets matte paint, black wheels, and is fully loaded. ⠀
When this new 2022 Kia EV6 electric car arrives in the U.S., it will offer an extremely broad lineup including two battery-pack sizes, one- and two-motor configurations, and a ridiculously large horsepower spread. The least powerful EV6 has 167 horsepower while the most powerful GT version has more than three times as much, with 576 hp. the top end is called the EV6 GT getting an 800v 77.4kWh battery pack, dual motor AWD, 557HP, and 546 lb-ft of torque and 0-60 in 3.5sec, a 162MPH TopSpeed, and 252 miles of range. Then comes the 77.4kWh RWD which gets you 225HP and 258 lb-ft of torque or AWD which gets you 325HP and 446 lb-ft of torque. The base 58kWh variant RWD gets you 168HP and 258 lb-ft of torque while AWD bumps it up to 232HP and 446 lb-ft of torque. The highest range version should do 300-316miles.
Inside this 2022 Kia EV6, the design looks clean and high-tech, with a pair of curved screens serving as the digital instrument panel and infotainment interface. Below that on the lower dash is a horizontal, full-width air vent array. A floating center console separates the front occupants and is home to cupholders, a drive-select dial, and what appears to be a storage spot for a phone we’d guess this is where the standard wireless charger resides.

We expect the 2022 Kia EV6 to start around ₦21.1 million ($45,000) when it reaches U.S. showrooms early in 2022. The GT (Grand Touring) is likely to cost considerably more, possibly around ₦25.8 million ($55,000).
