Kess, who goes by the full name, Kesiena Tony Adjekpovu, was born in 1994 to Mr and Mrs Adjekpovu in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria. He hails from the South-South region and is an indigene of Delta State, Nigeria. He spent his formative years living in Warri City.

During his childhood and teenage years, Kess tried his hands at singing, dancing, and acting. He was once a member of his local church’s choir, where he learned how to play different instruments. He was also one of the vocalists of the church. In secondary school, Kess was an active member of the school’s Drama Club and participated in several school plays and musicals.

Kess did his primary and secondary education in Warri, Delta State. After graduation, he moved to Delta State University, where he graduated with his Bachelor’s degree.

Kess is married to his wife, Angel Baby Adjekpovu. The couple tied the knot in May 2021 and are currently expected to have their first child. 

Before joining the Big Brother house, Kess was residing in the United States, and his wife works as a professional photographer.
