Overnight, the price of fuel increased by 3x, and many are still trying to readjust to the “new normal” in Nigeria. 

The latest tale on fuel subsidy removal is that of a Nigerian car dealer who lamented on his Instagram page that it cost him about N40,500 to purchase 25 litres of fuel for his 4-plug Honda, which barely was a half tank.

On his page, the man wrote: “Yesterday I bought two 25 litres of fuel and took the tank of the 4 plug Honda I was driving to almost half way, guess what? I spent #40,500. I was in shock till I got home.”

He then proceeded to ask his followers how much it’ll cos to fill a a V8 Turbo Mercedes-Benz AMG G63.
