On Sunday, April 24, a Nigerian man named Dayo Sunday Apata took to Twitter to share how his wife supported him after he lost his job in 2021.
According to his Twitter thread, he said his wife took out a loan of 3.1 million Naira to buy him a car so that he could start a taxi/Uber business to support himself and the family.
But, only three weeks after she bought the car, the car developed faults. And, without any money to fix the car, he has gone on Twitter to beg Nigerians to help him fix the car without involving his wife again.

While pouring out his frustration on social media, Dayo notes how difficult life had turned for him and his family since he lost his job. He also added that he’s been on the lookout for a job to have a stable income source.
He also states how supportive his wife has been since he became unemployed, revealing that she has stood by him since day one of his financial predicament.
