The Geely Coolray has headlamps that look like projectors and either come in halogen bulbs or full LEDs for the top-spec variants. The vehicle rides on 215/60/R17 wheels and tyres for the Comfort trim and 225/55/R18 wheels and tyres for the Premium and Sport Variants. All the wheels come in a dual-colour turbine design.

The technological features of the Geely Coolray subcompact crossover include a 360-panoramic camera set up for the Sport trim. It also includes a 10.25-inch infotainment system with GKUI smart Ecosystem. The vehicle has three drive modes which are Eco, Sport and Normal.
Other technological features include; G-Pilot technology which is Geely’s brand of autonomous driving technologies and is primarily used for automatic parking use. The system has sensors and cameras around the vehicle that give the driver an almost third-person view when the signal lights are activated which further advances the safety features.

The Geely Coolray is equipped with a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo gasoline engine that produces 177 horsepower and 255 pound-feet of torque. Included is a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission that powers the front wheels. The ride of the vehicle is smooth and the crossover has independent suspension. It also has disc brakes all around plus the electronic parking brake with auto brake hold while the lower trims ride on 17-inch wheels. The Geely boats of a combined 36 mpg fuel economy.
