Everything you need to know about the 2023 Honda CR-V

The Honda CR-V series can be credited with having sleek and trim designs coupled with fast-leading technology innovations, making it one of the best-sellers in the Nigerian and global markets with an emphasis on efficiency, comfort and safety. The 2022 Honda CR-V was one that accelerated the hearts of car lovers.

The highly anticipated compact crossover was one with diverse specifications ranging from its capacious interior to the fuel-efficient powertrain, not to mention the turbocharged engine and pairing it with arguably one of the best continuously variable automatic transmissions (CVTs) available in a CR-V. The car was made to fit any lifestyle and included standard infotainment and connectivity features as well as driver-assistance technology. The car took safety measures to another level.

Honda has been given insight and glimpses into the general outlook of the all-new 2023 CR-V, which has indeed broken the internet with its unique and refreshing design. What we can say is that Honda has upgraded this model so that it can be easily differentiated from its predecessors. Although all the features of the compact vehicle have not been fully released to the public, we will be giving a breakdown of what we know about the 2023 Honda CR-V. 

Bolder Interior Design 

The interior of the CR-V has been updated to be more modern and sporty, with premium materials used throughout the lineup. With eight recline angles for the back passengers, the crossover is more comfortable than ever, making long trips less stressful. All CR-V trims have 36.3 cubic feet of cargo space, which increases to 76.5 cubic feet when the back seats are folded. The largest centre console bin in its class, with up to nine litres of storage space, is located between the front seats.

Adapted Innovative Technology 

The nearly finished cabin of the CR-V has driver-focused controls and electronics. This consists of a digital instrument panel and a sizable infotainment touchscreen in the dashboard’s centre. The Honda CR-V offers the same cutting-edge setup as the Honda Civic and a metallic mesh trim piece that runs across the dashboard with a 7.0-inch touchscreen audio system that is standard on the EX and Sport models and has physical buttons for volume and adjustment as well as a straightforward menu structure.

Standard features include a bigger 9-inch touchscreen with a physical volume knob in the EX-L and Sport Touring trim levels. Front-wheel drive is the default with a CVT automatic transmission, and an available all-wheel-drive system can now distribute torque equally among the wheels. It’s probable that the current generation is heavier and less fuel efficient, as was the case with the new model, as Honda made no mention of weight reduction. 

Upscale Safety Measures

The extended and upgraded Honda Sensing suite includes driver assistance and active safety technologies. All trims now come standard with blind-spot monitoring, and sensors for adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist have larger fields of view. Honda claims that these systems’ responses, which were already excellent, now feel even more natural. A snow mode and new hill descent control improve drivability in challenging circumstances.

Since 2015, the IIHS has given the CR-V its Top Safety Pick or Top Safety Pick+ designation each year, and we doubt Honda would allow this run to end with the new CR-V. It receives new front knee airbags, front side airbags, and rear side airbags that are intended specifically to protect the heads of the occupants.

Price of 2023 Honda CR-V

The 2023 Honda CR-V has been resolved to be made in North America, with manufacturing plants in the U.S. and Canada. There has not been an official MSRP (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price) for the 2023 Honda CR-V, but from what can be gathered and especially with its amazing new features, it can be concluded to be around $27,000 to $38,000 estimated at ₦13,500,000  to # 22,8000,00 (twenty-two million eight hundred thousand naira). This car is a great find for those who love practicality, convenience, and good performance. 

From the outlook given to us by Honda on the new CR-V, it would become a bestseller in the market.
