Drama As Lagos Police RRS Intercepts Car Stolen In Abuja By Owner’s Driver

The Lagos State Police Command‘s Rapid Response Squad (RRS) apprehended a stolen Toyota Camry 2010 model in Abuja. The RRS said in a statement that the car went missing three days after it was handed to the owner on Sunday, October 10.

According to RRS, the woman’s driver went to Lagos after dropping her off at a church in the nation’s capital’s Garki neighbourhood. The perpetrator, identified as Bamidele, sold the vehicle for N500,000 in Lekki’s Marwa Ghetto. Officers intercepted the buyer, known as Abiodun, as he was on his way to Sango in Ogun State after depositing N120,000 with Bamidele. After further questioning, it was found that the car had been stolen.
