Born and raised in Udi, a popular town in Enugu, Destiny Etiko is born into a family of five having 3 brothers and a sister. She is the second child of the family, born on the 12^th of August, 1989. Destiny had her primary and secondary school education at Zik Avenue Primary School and Queens School respectively.

Destiny Etiko had a passion for acting at a very young age; she wanted to follow in her mother’s footsteps who had to give up acting to raise her family. While still in secondary school, she registered in the Action Guild of Nigeria in Enugu state which was her first entrance into the Nollywood industry. From here, Destiny Etiko started attending movie auditions and playing minor roles in movies where her talent gradually came to the limelight.

Having discovered her passion from a young age, Destiny Etiko moved to Akwa in Anambra where she had her Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, where she graduated in 2012.
