The 2023 presidential election is around the corner, and all the aspirant is warming up; an unconfirmed story is that our current serving Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr Godwin Emefiele is one of the aspirants under the ruling party of APC.
Godwin Emefiele is the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Before he joined the CBN, he spent over 26 years in commercial banking culminating in his tenure as Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank PLC, one of Nigeria’s largest banks with over 7,000 staff, about US$3.2 billion in shareholders’ funds, and subsidiaries in Ghana, Sierra Leone, Gambia, South Africa, China, and the United Kingdom.
Godwin who has not made any public declaration on his president’s ambition but yet has his posters all covered across Nigeria and over 78 branded vehicles. The Eyewitness who shared the picture said they are more vehicles undergoing branding with Godwin’s campaign picture.
