Brabus 760

Price: 188 million naira.

This is one car that commands the attention of anyone around. You can’t help but stare at the sleekness, opulence, and Stark beauty of the car. BRABUS 760 is based on the S63 AMG 4MATIC COUPE. The owner of this car model in Nigeria distinctly customized his plate number with ‘ACE’. This car is a grand tourer meaning it’s a performance car that is still comfortable for driving long distances- well, not all luxury cars can’t do that, but hey, the Brabus 760 breaks the record!

Because of its 4matuc nature, the 7-speed automatic transmission simultaneously sends power to all four wheels, coupled with a 5.5-litre Turbo V8 engine under the hood of the car. From the initial 577 horsepower of the 4Matic, this new engine can produce 760 horsepower, hence the super name ‘Brabus 760’.The Brabus tuned engine pushes the 760hp coupe from 0 to 60 in just 3.1 seconds while the standard S63 does this in 3.9 seconds

The inner space of the car speaks of excellent craftsmanship. The interior is lined with high-quality leather, state-of-the-art technology, as well as a strong burgundy wrap across the dashboard and the seat areas (depending on what the customer wants). The speedometer, odometer, tachometer, car information, and trip information are sophisticatedly arranged on the left screen in front of the driver. On the right screen is where the centre console is strategically located containing the infotainment system that controls all forms of entertainment and utility on this car.

Brabus G700

Price: 114 million in naira.

Your Mercedes Benz G-Wagon can look much better and perform more excellently! The Brabus G700 is the upscaled version of the Mercedes AMG-G63.

As its name suggests G700, you’re looking at around 700bhp from the twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8. 690bhp, to be exact, an increase of 114bhp. Meanwhile, torque leaps from 627lb-ft to 701lb-ft.

Brabus calls its G-banger the 700 Widestar, which indicates the wider stance of the vehicle. The monstrous 11.0 x 23.0-inch forged alloy wheels clad in 305/35 R 23 sticky tyres widen the track and they are covered under oversized wheel arch flares. Bespoke LED lights and a custom interior complete the package.

I won’t blame you if you find it hard to take your eyes off the stunning bright yellow paint finish of the Brabus G700, which is officially called “Solar Beam” by Brabus. Although the G700 still retains the original boxy styling of the AMG-G63, the chief among the modifications you will find on the exterior is the solid black carbon fibre hood scope sitting right on top of the hood. Other modifications include a new black grille, a classy bullbar, Brabus badges that adorn the body of the AMG G63 and the new set of 23-inch forged wheels shod in Yokohama tires.

The remodelled AMG G63, with its powerful engine, is capable of sprinting from a standstill to 62 mph in just 4.9 seconds, with a top speed of about 149 mph.

The price of this Brabus is as expensive as every other Brabus car. It’s a car from class.

The Brabus 650 is the upscaled version of the Mercedes Benz – AMG C 63 S. Think of Brabus as the Emeril Lagasse of the Mercedes-Benz tuning world. Brabus takes the German manufacturer’s products and kicks them up a notch, to borrow the chef’s favourite expression. The latest Mercedes model to get the Brabus treatment is the Mercedes-AMG C63 S convertible. Dubbed the Brabus 650 Cabrio, the two-door droptop adds more spice to what is already a pretty hot factory offering.

CONCLUSION

A Brabus car is one of the best cars you can find around. However, there are a couple of challenges with using it in Nigeria. First, the Nigerian fuel quality is not good enough to generate power in any Brabus model. The cost of maintenance is incredibly high, and changing spare parts is expensive as well because you can’t find them with Nigerian car dealers.

While you may want to enjoy your cool cash with a Brabus, bear in mind that you may have to continually spend to maintain it and keep it in good condition.
