BMW 2 Series Coupe Gets A Whole Line Of M Performance Parts

The controversial new BMW 2 Series coupe, which retains its RWD design, has received a slew of M Performance Parts, many of which are unnecessary. Outside, there are decals for everything from the hood to the side door panels. Then there’s a huge spoiler, diffuser, gas cap, and side mirror caps made of carbon fibre. Outside, BMW offers a variety of wheel options, improvements, brake options, and more… and that’s only the beginning. Puddle lights, an M Performance Alcantara steering wheel, a new Alcantara centre console or rear seatbacks, M door locks, carbon trim, and more are available on the inside.

The 230i and M240i engines will be available under the hood, with the 8-speed automatic transmission being the only transmission option. The 2.0L Turbo 4 in the 230i produces 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels or all four wheels. The 3.0L Turbo 6 engine in the M240i produces 382 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque.

The automobile now features a larger front and rear track, as well as a 12% increase in torsional rigidity. There’s also an M sport suspension and an M adaptive suspension to choose from. For the first time, the 2 series has a plethora of driver safety measures. The interior is identical to that of the 3 and 4 series, featuring iDrive 7, a live cockpit, and a comparable appearance. The LED-lit speaker grills on the door panels are a unique feature. Pricing has yet to be announced, but it will be available in November in the United States!
