Audi’s new concept future car comes with a surprise – a retractable steering wheel that disappears into the front dashboard when in autonomous mode.
The Level 4-autonomous capable car’s interior then transforms into a lounge-like area with an open roof and no one at the wheel, while the autonomous car drives itself to the destination and finds parking.
The car also has a “sports mode” for the human driver, making this hidden steering wheel a striking feature of Audi’s vision for the future.
