Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, popularly known as Peruzzi was born on the 5th of December 1989. He is currently a Nigerian Musician and Songwriter who began his career at age 7. His professional career as a Musician in Nigeria began when he signed a record deal with Golden Boys Records in 2016.

Peruzzi is a native of Imo State in Nigeria and was born to professional parents as his Dad working as an Engineer and his Mother as a Nurse. He has two siblings who are females as he is the only male child and also the last child in his family.  He had his Primary school education at Lerato Primary School, Egbeda, and proceeded to have his Secondary school education in Command Secondary school, Ikeja.

After completing his education in Nigeria, he moved to Ukraine to pursue a first degree in Medicine and Surgery from Odesa State National University. He did not complete his education because wanted to focus on his music, so he moved back to Nigeria in 2013 while in his fifth year at school.

His love for music began at the age of seven when his father bought him a Piano. He grew up in a Christian home so he practised hard with only Christian music. He stopped doing Music and continued to focus on his education, but his friends soon found out he had a talent. He performed at an event his friends set him up for and that reawakened his passion. So, after losing his passport, returning to Nigeria to pursue Music seemed like a great idea.

His big break into the music scene happened in 2018 when he got signed to Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) group. While in DMW, he released Majesty which rocked the airwaves for a while and he continued to get featured in some hit songs all over Nigeria. His biggest hit was getting featured in Amaka disappoint me, where 2Baba  featured Perruzi.

Before DMW, he worked with Patrick Anyaene of Golden Boys Entertainment For your pocket where he featured LK Kuddy. It was this song that piqued Davido’s interest in him when he saw his video on Snapchat, so he invited him to the club and the rest is history. In 201, he was nominated for a Headies award as the Next Rated artiste.

Peruzzi is a cousin to Chioma, who is Davido’s fiancé and the mother of his son.

In January 2019 after a social media controversy with his former boss over a breach of contract, he acquired a new house and a new car. This came some days after the controversy on Social media.

In the controversy, his former boss, Patrick Anyaene of Golden Boys Entertainment took to Twitter to express his displeasure over Perruzi’s breach of contract. His former boss claimed that Perruzi was still signed to him and DMW signed Perruzi knowing he was signed to another label. This controversy trended on Twitter and led to some wild speculations that Chioma was not his cousin.

His former boss claimed that he owned him some amount of money running into millions but Perruzi called it Chicken change. It is unknown whether he paid off any debt, but a few days later Perruzi posted some pictures of his new house and a car on his Instagram page.

In the pictures, he was flanked by members of the DMW crew, and the news looked unconfirmed till his boss, Davido congratulated him on his Instagram account. The exact location of the house is unknown, but it is located on the Island of Lagos, Nigeria.

The car he purchased is also unknown but a closer look at the pictures he shared on his Instagram story shows it is a white Mercedes Benz GLS 450 4matic.
