Utieyinoritsetsola Emiko popularly called Tsola Emiko is the 21st king of the Warri kingdom. Coming from a royal bloodline, he was born to Prince Godwin Toritseju Emiko (The Late Ogiame Atuwatse ll) & Gladys Durorike Emiko. The 37-year-old was born in Delta, Warri State on 2nd April 1984.

The new Olu of Warri had his primary education at the prestigious NNPC primary school, after which he proceeded to Adesoye college, Offa, Kwara State from 1995 to 2001 for his secondary school education.

Moving onward in his academic pursuit, Prince Tsola Emiko bagged his Bachelor’s of Arts degree, majoring in International Studies & Political Science, while minoring in History & Economics. He got admitted into Case Western Reserve University Cleveland, Ohio, the USA where he had his undergraduate degree between 2002-2006.

Being a passionate learner, Prince Tsola Emiko, the new Olu of Warri didn’t stop with a Bachelor’s degree. He pushed further to earn a Master’s degree in Management from Case Western Reserve University in 2007.

Due to the mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC), the crowned prince returned to Nigeria in 2008 to have his NYSC. He served at the Public Affairs Department of National Petroleum Investment Management Services (NAPIMS).

After the death of his father, the Warri Traditional Council of Chiefs, announced Tsola Emiko As The Olu-designate, to the Itsekiri sons and daughters in April 2021. Reports have it that the kingmakers chose Tsola Emiko as the next king because he was the most qualified, has a stable character, strong mental capacity, and clear understanding of the sensitivities of the people of the Warri Kingdom. He also has deep, calculated thought processes, and a skilful analytical mind on kingdom matters.

After being in seclusion (Idaniken), Prince Tsola Emiko has crowned the Ogiame Atuwatse III, the 21st Olu of the Warri Kingdom.

The ceremonial event was graced by dignitaries including Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu; Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu; Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Idris Wase; and former Delta State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, among others. Some of the traditional rulers and dignitaries also in attendance include the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi; Obi of Onitsha, Alfred Achebe; Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams; and President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick.

Prince Tsola Emiko is married to the daughter of a wealthy billionaire. In 2014, he married Ivie Okunbor, the daughter of billionaire Captain. Idahosa Okunbor, in a lavish wedding ceremony. They had their white wedding in London. The union is blessed with three beautiful children.
