Not every car that performs the basic transportation function is considered a good car. Some of them come with issues that classify them as unsafe and problematic. While many wonderful cars have been made over decades, bad cars abound. Have you ever imagined what some of these bad cars are? Below are some of the worst-ever made cars in history.

The 1957 Trabant is considered one of the worst cars ever made. It was built for the Communist party and introduced into East Germany in 1957. The car was terrible from the onset. The Trabant had an outdated two-stroke engine and a duroplast body. The car features serious production shortages. The car only makes 18 horsepower. Well, the car didn’t last either, did the company.

The 2003 Saturn Ion is considered the reason the brand disappeared. According to Consumer Reports, the 2003 Saturn Ion was one of the worst-made cars ever built and part of why this brand didn’t survive. The brand phased off after 2009. The car was too noisy, built poorly, and had an awful performance. The car’s interior was extremely inferior, making it less appealing.

Suzuki tried to make a sports car with the X-90, but they failed. The car appeared in the 1990s and was one of the strongest-looking cars offered. Coupled with the poor performance, the size, and how it didn’t meet the sports car mark, the Suzuki X-90 failed miserably.

The Reliant Robin is a British car classified as one of the worst cars ever made. The car also had a strange look that made it laughable. It first arrived in 1973, and it only had three wheels. The lack of a fourth wheel led to terrible stability and safety results.

The car first entered the market in 2001 as a little electric car. However, it gave drivers nothing but relentless issues. It was meant to fit four people, but drivers were cramped even when driving alone. Another problem the car had was a lack of control at higher speeds. When it’s approaching 50 mph, the car will spiral out of control, creating a dangerous situation.

Conclusion

History has recorded many horribly made cars, and the above cars fall within that category. They were not just bad for their looks or quality, but due to their performance and reliability.
