Cars are giant pieces of mechanical equipment with a thousand and one moving parts. As much as we may love cars, there are just some cars that are not necessarily meant to be owned by us, especially if you’re earning a minimum wage in Nigeria or something along those lines.

There are cars out there that will just cost you money to just drive, this could be because they consume a lot of fuel or it is just a car you do not ever want to get caught broken down with. Using cars regularly means that they need to be maintained properly to avoid them breaking down.

There are some brands of cars that aren’t meant to drive to work every day with because they can be such a strain on your wallet or bank account. So here are cars that cost a lot of money to maintain.

I’m sure you already had this one coming. High-end cars usually cost a lot when it comes to maintenance, don’t get me wrong Mercedes-Benz is a great car brand, but maintenance is expensive for these car brands.

3. BMW

Don’t let anyone lie to you and tell you that a BMW won’t cost you a lot when it comes to maintaining it. It will take a lot of money to make sure it runs perfectly, especially if it’s a recent model such as the M4 or something that is up there.

If you’re looking to buy yourself a BMW but don’t wanna struggle with maintenance, then buy an older model it won’t give you too many problems.
