2022 BMW iX – Finally, here is the first look at the 2022 BMW iX SUV, the radical, technology filled EV by BMW showing their next generation of… everything really! BMW has said they have designed the iX from the inside out, though the outside is unique as well and is the size of an X5. Here you see the slim LED lights and big kidneys that hide the advanced radar, sensors, and cameras.
Underneath is BMW’s 5th gen EV technology. Here is a 100kWh battery pack with two electric motors. It makes over 500PS (496HP) though the range is not good at around 300miles on the EPA cycle, bad for such a massive battery. (These numbers are NOT final though and are for the prototype)
The interior is a fresh high tech welcome for BMW as literally, every car they make has the same interior now. This breaks that rule (finally) with a massive panoramic roof, a lounge experience, and new materials. The new hexagonal steering wheel gives C8 vibes and has integrated LED lights for autonomous driving.

Then comes the massive dual screens, all new crystal iDrive controller with a wood surround, buttons, and switches covered in shiny metal, and more! Stay tuned as way more details emerge later on closer to the production model! (Just wait for the XM SUV next).
