Named after the world’s largest mined diamond, the recently introduced Cullinan put Rolls-Royce in the luxury SUV game. Actually, at the top of it, when considering price and exclusivity. Performance

Powering the Cullinan is a twin-turbo V12 churning out a silky 563 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. Routing through an eight-speed auto and all-wheel-drive, it effortlessly wafts the Cullinan while a sophisticated air suspension keeps it on a smooth and even keel. A button marked Off-Road has the Cullinan rising 40 mm on its air suspension while calling up special transmission mapping and longer throttle travel.

Practicality

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan can be configured for four or five persons. A powered 60/40 rear bench seat is standard, as is a powered two-piece tailgate. Cargo capacity stretches from 560 litres to 1,886 litres with the bench folded, and while the base of the seats when folded sits higher than the boot floor, flat cargo space is attainable by electronically raising the said floor.
