Mercedes AMG’s new E53 hybrid is arguably one of the is best looking new models and although, other markets get the stunning Wagon variant, The new Mercedes AMG’s Wagon is officially called the E53 Hybrid 4Matic+, this new machine is still positioned below the upcoming E63.
Outside is a massive AMG grille with larger intakes, wider fenders, and new wheels up to 21in forged options. Out back are quad tailpipes, a lip spoiler, and a host of visual packages.
The new PHEV 3.0L Turbo inline-6 makes a combined 577HP and 553 lb-ft of torque with an optional 603HP AMG Dynamic Plus pack. 0-60 happens around 3.8 seconds with a 174MPH TopSpeed. It also has a 21.22kWh battery with a 60kW DC Fast charger. It can do 56-63 miles in EV mode on the WLTP cycle.
The new E53 also comes with a stiffer chassis, sportier suspension tuning, adaptive dampers, rear axle steering, a eLSD out back, and larger brakes.
Inside are AMG sport seats with the AMG steering wheel, AMG specific infotainment displays and more.
