The TX is an excellent vehicle to have, but it's hard to find one. The interior design is excellent with plenty of space for passengers and cargo, making it a practical choice.
However, the exterior design feels incomplete and too similar to the Gran Highlander. Though the ride is smooth on even pavements, the suspension is unnaturally stiff. At over $80k, the interior quality, features, and ergonomics could be better. The primary focus of the car is on space.
Despite the drawbacks, the Lexus TX will still sell well, and it's an excellent start for the company. The powertrain of the TX550h+ is impressive, but there is room for improvement in other areas, which could be addressed in a Gen 2 version.
The 2024 Lexus TX is priced between $55,050 and $60,950 depending on the trim level and options you choose. Car and Driver recommend the Luxury trim, which comes with luxurious features such as semi-aniline leather upholstery, 10-way power-adjustable front seats, a heated steering wheel, and heated second-row seats.
It's worth noting that when the 2024 Lexus TX arrives in Nigeria as a new model, the price is expected to start at 80 million naira in most showrooms across the country.
